Adding and creating Symbaloo Webmixes is simple and allows you to organize your resources effectively. Here’s how to do it:
Steps to Add a New Webmix
Go to Symbaloo and log into your account.
Locate the ”+” (Add a Webmix) button in the top navigation bar or Webmix carousel.
Create New: Select this option to create a blank Webmix from scratch.
Search Webmixes: Browse public Webmixes created by other users and add one that fits your needs.
Give your Webmix a descriptive name to identify its purpose (e.g., “Work Tools” or “Educational Resources”).
Decide if your Webmix will be private (only you can see it) or public (shareable with others).
Add Tiles to your new Webmix by clicking on empty spaces and linking them to websites, tools, or files.
Once done, your Webmix will appear in the top carousel for easy access.
Creating and Customizing a Webmix
Click on an empty tile space and select “Create a Tile.”
Enter the URL or link to the resource you want the tile to open.
Customize the tile’s appearance (color, icon, text).
Drag and drop tiles within the webmix to arrange them.
Group similar tiles together for better organization.
Enhance your webmix with interactive widgets like RSS feeds, weather updates, or embedded videos.
Change the background of your webmix to a color or image that matches its theme.
Public Sharing: Share your webmix with others by setting it to public and providing the URL.
