Symbaloo vs. Symbaloo Webspaces
Symbaloo offers two separate experiences, all within the same account.
You can start with a standard Symbaloo account, or a Symbaloo account with a connected Webspace.
Both products are free to use (with advertisements), or you can subscribe to remove advertisements.
What is Symbaloo?
Symbaloo is a homepage and bookmark manager that allows users to search for, save, organize, and share their favorite digital resources such as Websites, Articles, Videos, Documents and much more. Upon signing up for an account, you'll have access to Symbaloo features such as Tiles, Webmixes, Learning Paths, and more. All of your resources can be created and shared through Symbaloo Tiles and Webmix previews on a standard account. All standard accounts start without a custom Webspace URL, however, standard accounts can later be connected to a Webspace, allowing you to create a Webspace URL for enhanced content distribution, resource sharing and access.
What is a Symbaloo Webspace?
Symbaloo Webspaces are an extension to standard Symbaloo accounts that allow users to create a custom URL (i.e. yourstartpage.symbaloo.com) to help simplify content distribution and resource access. These URL's won't change, and they allow users to share unlimited Webmixes through a single link. Webspaces are best used when set as Home / Start pages on devices in libraries, schools & districts, and environments where there is need for simple to use, and easily accessible resources through a digital resource directory. Webpsaces can also be personalized and branded with custom logos for any environment or use case. While Webspaces are free to connect and use with ads, we also offer paid subscriptions to remove advertising.
