What is Symbaloo?
Symbaloo is a visual platform that helps you organize, manage, and share your favorite online resources. It allows you to create a personalized homepage filled with Tiles—custom links to websites, tools, documents, videos, and more—all accessible in one place.
🔹 Features at a Glance
- Tiles: Quick-access links to your favorite resources.
- Webmixes: Grids that organize Tiles by topic or category.
- Learning Paths: Interactive, tile-based lesson plans (great for education).
- Sharing: Share your resources with others via link or embed.
🔸 Standard vs. Webspace Accounts
All users start with a standard Symbaloo account. You can later connect to a Symbaloo Webspace—a powerful add-on that gives you your own customizable domain (e.g., yourname.symbaloo.com) to better distribute content and manage access.
Webspaces are ideal for schools, educators, or organizations that want centralized control over shared content.

So, What is Symbaloo?
Symbaloo is a homepage and bookmark manager that allows users to search for, save, organize, and share their favorite digital resources, such as Websites, Articles, Videos, Documents, and much more. Upon signing up for an account, you'll have access to Symbaloo features such as Tiles, Webmixes, Learning Paths, and more. On a standard account, all of your resources can be created and shared through Symbaloo Tiles and Webmix previews.
Symbaloo also offers a free extension add-on called Symbaloo Webspace. If you're new to Symbaloo, you can either start by creating a standard Symbaloo account or sign up for an account with a connected Webspace. While all standard accounts start without Webspace, standard accounts can later be connected to a Webspace, allowing you to create a custom domain (i.e., yourstartpage.symbaloo.com) for enhanced content distribution, resource sharing and access.
